**** Vandalized newly installed Solar powered street lights in Yenagoa
In a shocking act of vandalism and theft, the newly installed solar street lights along GloryDrive, Igbogene – Elebele AIT drive outer ring road, and other locations in Bayelsa State have been targeted once again. This malicious act poses a great threat to the progress and development efforts of Senator Douye Diri’s prosperity administration.
More than 100 and 100 of the poles respectively have been vandalized, causing immense damage and financial loss. It is disheartening to witness such acts of wickedness and devilish behavior by criminals who are determined to hinder the state’s progress.
This issue calls for immediate action from the security agencies in Bayelsa State. They must step up their efforts to apprehend these criminals and put an end to their destructive activities. Furthermore, nearby communities should be urged to actively participate in safeguarding the Igbogene solar-powered street lights and other government infrastructure.
