Entertainment – Information on actor Moses Armstrong I didn’t rape anyone, yet I’m glad I got sent to jail
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
A controversial Nollywood actor named Moses Armstrong has responded to claims that he sexually raped a young woman.
A few weeks ago, the Akwa Ibom State Government charged the Nollywood actor with rape, coercion, conspiracy, and giving drugs or tools to induce abortion.
Mr. Armstrong had never had the four counts read to him in front of a State High Court in Uyo since his initial incarceration on June 13. The actor filed a not guilty plea.
Moses Armstrong, however, is no longer in custody as a result of the N5 million bond amount set by Judge Ntong Ntong.
On his Facebook page, the troubled actor reiterated that he is not a rapist. He also seems to be saying that he is happy he went to jail since “God went with him.”
In his message, the actor said that his time in prison had been “wonderful” and that he would soon share his experience.
He wrote, “#NoOneButGod.” Nothing Is Hidden From God. If you believe, you will receive. God has no limitations. I never raped anyone, and I never did.
I have never engaged in sexual misconduct. And I’ll never rape someone. I’ve improved and grown stronger. I’m pleased I went to prison because God was with me. The experience is wonderful. Soon, you’ll hear it. You are all blessed for having believed in me, angels. I love you all. #ONELOVE is the finest form of Akwa Ibom (sic)
