Chelsea’s players were shocked by the club’s owner, Todd Boehly’s decision to allow Mykhailo Mudryk and his entourage into the club’s dressing room to introduce them before a Premier League game.

This was after the Blues beat Arsenal to the signature of the Ukrainian international, Mudryk, who joined in an £88.5 million deal from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.

The highly-rated player was officially unveiled before the fans at Stamford Bridge during the half-time break in Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace on January 15.

Mail Online reports that some of Chelsea’s stars and staff were taken aback by the club’s chief executive officer’s decision to interrupt preparations ahead of the Crystal Palace game and allowed Mudryk and his team to enter the changing room at Stamford Bridge.

According to the report, there is ‘growing discontent’ among the blues’ squad, as many of the players are now thinking of dumping Stamford Bridge this summer because they do not enjoy Boehly’s interference

And following their exit from the Champions League, some of Chelsea’s players are also facing a significant wage reduction
