EPL: Conte names two teams that must finish in the top four

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has stated that his team still has a long way to go, but Chelsea and Manchester United have no such excuse.
Conte was asked during his Tuesday press conference if Spurs had a chance this season because Chelsea and Manchester United are in transition.
The Italian went on to say that because both rivals have spent big money and had recent success, they should be considered title contenders.
“I am surprised you are asking about Man United and Chelsea being in transition,” Conte said. Chelsea is in transition after winning the Champions League two years ago and the Club World Cup last season. United finished second two years ago.
“If these clubs with deep pockets are in transition, I’m not sure who the title contenders are.” Perhaps we see things differently. It’s healthy to have opposing viewpoints.
“We were ninth in November last year.” We were in the Conference League at the time. And you believe Manchester United and Chelsea are in transition? With Ronaldo, Varane, and Sancho all on the move? This is how I hope to transition. I certainly hope so.
“I’ve been here 11 months. You can change the coach, but when you arrive and find a group of players who won the Champions League two years ago and the World Cup for teams last season, you might find an important squad with a lot of winners.”
