EPL: FA told to ban Bruno Fernandes for five games

The English FA has been told to hand Bruno Fernandes at least a five match ban for pushing the lineman during Manchester United’s 7-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
Ref Support UK wants the Portuguese to serve a five-game ban for his action.
Fernandes tangled with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold before shoving linesman Adam Nunn in the back.
Reports in the United Kingdom suggest that the FA are set to let the Portugal international go unpunished for the action since the incident was spotted by referee Andy Madley.
But Ref Support UK, which is dedicated to independent training, support and development of referees, are calling for a five-match ban on the former Benfica man.
“I think he’s got to be looking at least a five-game ban,” Martin Cassidy, chief executive of Ref Support UK, told PA.
“To get in contact with a match official is a serious offence and should be treated such a way.
“I think that would be absolutely appropriate…”
