EPL: It’s clear, you need them – Enrique hands Liverpool three signings to make
By Adeleye Kunle
Former Liverpool defender, Jose Enrique, has suggested that the club need to sign three players in the upcoming transfer window next year to beef up their strength in key positions.
Enrique believes Liverpool, under their manager Jurgen Klopp are short of good midfielders and should target Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, a winger like Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and a right-back in the winter transfer window in 2023.
Klopp’s men have struggled to find consistency since the beginning of the 2022-2023 season.
The Reds currently sit in the 10th position in the Premier League table ahead of their Premier League tie with Manchester City on Sunday.
“The positions Liverpool need are clear. It’s a number 8, it’s a right-winger and a right-back. I think it would be good for Ramsay to go on loan, get some minutes, and you need someone there to compete,” Enrique said via Midnite.
He added: “Players I would love, if I was playing FIFA, and I had all the money I wanted I’d get Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and a right-back. The team really need midfielders. They have many options but there are too many injuries. Kylian Mbappe would be good as well! But it’s not realistic
