EPL: Kai Havertz makes promise to Mikel Arteta
Arsenal new boy, Kai Havertz has vowed to repay the faith and trust manager Mikel Arteta has put in him.
The German lauded Arteta, who insisted on bringing him to the Emirates Stadium this summer and has stood by him through and through.
The former Bayer Leverkusen forward joined the Gunners in a £65m deal from Chelsea.
His transfer divided opinion due to his mixed record with the Blues.
“I think he was giving me this message [of support] from the first second when I spoke to him.
“He just gives the trust to me and I hopefully can give it back,” Havertz told Sky Sports.
