EPL: Klopp speaks on resigning as Liverpool manager
By Adeleye Kunle
Jurgen Klopp’s agent, Marc Kosicke has insisted the Liverpool manager has “no intention” of resigning.
The Reds’ 2-1 defeat at home to Leeds last weekend was their fourth of the current Premier League campaign.
It is two more than they suffered throughout the whole of last season.
Liverpool sit ninth in the table and trail table toppers Arsenal by 15 points.
But Kosicke has said Klopp is determined to continue in his role rather than quit.
“I can assure you that Jurgen Klopp has no intention of resigning from Liverpool FC.
“Jurgen enjoys the backing of the people in charge and is in regular contact with them. He loves the club, his team and the fans and is determined to continue and successfully complete the transition in Liverpool. He didn’t extend his contract until 2026 for nothing,” Kosicke told newsmen.
