EPL: Pat Nevin tells Chelsea who to sign as Drogba’s replacement

Chelsea legend, Pat Nevin, has urged the club to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
Nevin believes Osimhen could be the answer to Chelsea’s search for a striker similar to the Blues legend Didier Drogba.
Chelsea are in the market for a proven goalscorer this summer, with the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang currently uncertain.
The west London club are yet to sign a reliable striker that can fill Drogba’s shoes at the club since the Ivorian left many years ago.
The likes of Alexandre Pato, Hernan Crespo, Andriy Shevchenko, Claudio Pizarro, and Samuel Eto’o all failed to fill Drogba’s shoes at Chelsea.
Writing in his column for The Daily Mail, Nevin believes Osimhen is the perfect striker to replace Drogba at Chelsea.
He said, “Everybody knows they [Chelsea] need somebody to put the ball in the net.
“They could go out and sign a striker, but Chelsea’s history of buying strikers at the wrong end of their career is extraordinary.
“They want somebody at the right end of their career who can become like Didier Drogba. I would get Victor Osimhen from Napoli if it was up to me
