EPL: Rio Ferdinand names Arsenal’s ‘most important player’ this season
By Adeleye Kunle
Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has named Gabriel Jesus as Arsenal’s ’most important player’.
This is despite the Brazilian international’s current goal drought.
Jesus has started his Arsenal career at on a very bright note after joining the Gunners in a £50m deal over the summer.
But the goals have dried up for Jesus. The former Manchester City star has not found the back of the net in his last seven appearances for the Gunners.
But Ferdinand still sees the Brazilian as the most important member of Arsenal squad.
Speaking on the Vibe with Five YouTube channel, Ferdinand said: “Listen, I still believe he [Jesus] Arsenal’s most important player by the way.
“Without him, Arsenal are not the same team. But he just needs to add goals now. You can’t criticise anything else he’s doing
