EPL: They’ll handle it – Emmanuel Petit gives only reason Arsenal may fall apart in title race
Arsenal legend, Emmanuel Petit is certain the team will go all the way to claim the Premier League title this season.
Arsenal’s next game will be against Leeds United as Mikel Arteta’s side resume their Premier League title challenge after the international break.
They are currently eight points clear of defending champions, Manchester City.
Petit insisted that if the Gunners fall short of winning the title, it will not be because the pressure got to them.
“This is one of the youngest teams in the Premier League but they are handling the pressure perfectly,” he said in reaction to Arsenal’s latest win over Crystal Palace.
“I’m confident they will do that until the end of the season. I don’t think they will fail under the pressure, I’m pretty sure they will handle it.”
