EPL: You must pay over odds – Teddy Sheringham tells Man Utd two players to sign

By Adeleye Kunle
Manchester United legend, Teddy Sheringham, has urged his former club to pay over odds to sign Tottenham’s Harry Kane and West Ham’s Declan Rice in the near future.
Man United enjoyed a decent summer by signing the likes of Antony, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen.
But Sheringham still believes the Red Devils must sign Kane and Rice for their manager Erik ten Hag.
“Man United must pay over the odds to sign Harry Kane and Declan Rice just as they have done with the best players in the past,” Sheringham told Genting Casino.
“Man United have always bought the best. They have signed Roy Keane, Rio Ferdinand, and Wayne Rooney – all were the best available.
“You need players with professionalism, desire and focus and they should look no further than Harry Kane.
“They are desperate for a focal point up front and they should also get Declan Rice, who knows when to calm it down and speed it up.
