The Warri Federal parliamentarian disclosed that he had earlier petitioned the continuous casualization of the staff in the Warri petrochemical company on the floor of the House, the matter he stated is still before the House committee on Public Petitions and hence he is alarmed that the company went ahead to terminate the staff during this COVID 19 pandemic period against the blanket and explicit directive of the Federal government against such an act.

He is also calling for the management of NNPC to restore those affected as full staff status of other NNPC workers just as they have served the company for so many years and deserve benefits accrue like other NNPC workers.

Chief Ereyitomi JP urged those affected in his constituents to remain calm as they are on top of the matter to reverse such unacceptable treatment from NNPC/WRPC against hosts communities and Warri people, he also called on the management of NNPC to avoid actions that can affect their smooth operations in their hosts communities.
