Ex-IYC Spokesman congratulates Sen. Diri, Ewhrudjakpo over a successful inaugural ceremony
The Immediate Past National Spokesman of the Ijaw Youth Council and National leader of the Niger Delta Advocacy Group, New Era Movement, Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe has congratulated His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Douye Diri and his dependable deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on their successful 2nd term inaugural ceremony on the 14th of February 2024
Comrade Ekerefe, In a statement issued in Yenagoa and made available to newsmen, attributed the unprecedented attendance of the inauguration by political leaders across the country, including the Vice President of Nigeria and that of Liberia to Gov Diri’s non-partisan approach to governance, the peace and stability the state has enjoyed under his watch and the rapid infrastructural development.

Comr. Ekerefe commended Gov Diri for putting Bayelsa sate on the world map, expressing confidence that the relationships, friendships and alliances the governor his building is welcomed and it will attract rapid foreign direct investments to the state, especially now that the economy of the country is nosediving.
Comr. Ekerefe who was ones a Special Adviser on Youth mobilization in the state appreciated Bayelsans, especially the youths for standing tall in the defense of democracy by ensuring that Sen Douye Diri and his deputy, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo are re-elected.

While praying for the governor to consolidate on the gains of his achievements in his first term, Comr Ekerefe expressed confidence that in the second term, the youths will be adequately integrated into the governance of the state as Sen Diri has demonstrated commitment in building young people who’ve shown capacity, competence and character.
