FCT Senator-elect, Kingibe expresses determination to work with co-contestants

The Senator-elect on the platform of the Labour Party representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hajiya Ireti Kingibe, has enjoined candidates of other political parties that contested in the February 25 poll to come together and work with her for the overall development of the capital city.
She assured that she would vigorously pursue and continue with the legacies of the outgoing Senator, Philip Aduda.
Speaking in a press conference in Abuja, Ireti said, “The FCT has had several senators before me and they have all given their input into making the FCT what it is today. My predecessor (Aduda) has given FCT his best in the last 12 years. For that, we also thank him, and I would like him to know that I am willing to continue to work from wherever he has left.”
