Published

on

A chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Bayelsa State Comrade Temple Newman has called on the leadership of APC in Bayelsa state to rise to the occasion to ensure all structures and LGAs interests collapse together for the overall good of the party otherwise the party will soon go into oblivion as the handwritings are clearly written.

In a statement he made available to TrackNews Online. He said,

I support the call made by Ayakpo Wilson, member representing Ekeremor constituency two in the State Assembly that APC should put its house in order otherwise the party will go into extinction with the ongoing divisions and the perceived defection plans of some of its members back to the PDP on or before 14th of February.

Reliably I hv been informed of some of the big names in APC from Southern LGA that hv concluded plans to defect to the PDP. They include some of them that hv just revalidated their membership status and those yet to partake in the exercise having perfected their defection plans.

My party APC which I am proud of and has given all my life for is fond of always accusing innocent party faithfuls like us who have taken all the risks and hv dedicated all our lives for the party but they choose to remain quiet when big names performs their dirties to whittle the strength of the party. All these are happening due to the internal rangling amongst critical leaders of the party whom we have hinged our hopes on.

I therefore, as a matter of utmost importance support the motion of Hon. Wilson Ayakpo for the leadership of the party to rise to the occasion to ensure all structures and LGAs interests collapse together for the overall good of the party otherwise the party will soon go into oblivion as the handwritings are clearly written.

Overtime, I hv seen and observe leaders at different levels focusing their attention only on their immediate followers and no concern for other members of the party, so also benefits are distributed in like manner which is not healthy for the growth of the party. As a party lets learn from the bad experiences in the last Senate Bye Elections.
