Buhari to lead dignitaries to Fayemi’s inauguration
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to be special guest of honour at the inauguration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi as the governor of Ekiti State, on the 16th of October in Ado Ekiti.
This was disclosed by the chairman of the media and publicity sub-committee of the inauguration planning committee for the ceremonies, Mr Yinka Oyebode.
Oyebode, who addressed newsmen on Wednesday to herald the inauguration ceremonies, said President Buhari will lead other invited dignitaries, including state governors to the event.
Oyebode said he was not sure that the president was often seen at swearing-in ceremonies, noting that the expected presence of President Buhari at Dr Fayemi’s inauguration was “as a result of the love and respect he has for the people of Ekiti State.”
