Hon. Oforji Congratulates Sen. Douye Diri And His Deputy, Sen. Lawrence As Supreme Court dismisses Cases.

YENAGOA_____The Honourable member representing Yenagoa Constituency 1 in the state House of Assembly Hon. Oforji Oboku congratulate the Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri and his Deputy, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor over the victory verdict made by the Supreme Court today.

The six appeals filed against the duo by the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP), Labour Movement (LM) and Accord Party were dismissed in the early hours of today, Wednesday 18th November, 2020.

In his words, Let me on behalf of the good people of Yenagoa Constituency 1 and all its inhabitants warmly congratulate the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri and his dependable ally and Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on their victory at the supreme court today.

It is a thing of joy that today, all the distractions this administration has been passing through since inception, has been trashed.

The ruling of the supreme court today, has of course, brought a renew hope and peace of mind where development will foster through the prosperity government.

I congratulate His Excellency and his deputy as this ruling, has once again, confirmed the will of God in the land of Bayelsa upon which the governor is christened ‘Miracle Governor’ and let me also, salute the courage of the judges for their stand in upholding and safeguarding the true principles of the judiciary in dispensing judgment without fear or favour.
