SANITATION EXERCISE FOR OCTOBER
YENAGOA____This is to inform the public that the State Environmental Sanitation day exercise for this month comes up on Saturday 31st October, 2020.
There will be restriction of movement between the hours of 7am and 10am for those without valid sanitation exemption pass from the Authority.
Please note the following as offences:
1. Playing of football and other sporting activities like jogging, aerobics at the flyover, walking, riding bicycles etc.
2. Loitering
3. Vehicles wrongly parked or abandoned by the roads will be evacuated by the Authority
4. Over grown grasses around premises
5. Blocked drainages.
6. Trading i.e buying and selling
We will also like to state that indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the median of Isaac Boro Express Way especially PDP junction and Kpansia Market is highly prohibited.
Those organizing events like weddings and funerals are to come for official pass from the Authority.
Defaulters would be arrested and prosecuted at the Sanitation Court.
Keeping our environment clean is a collective responsibility, let us join hands to make Bayelsa State clean.
