Federal Government is responsible for Kizz Daniel’s release from a Tanzanian prison.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The federal government’s efforts helped liberate popular musician and songwriter Oluwatobiloba Daniel (commonly known as Kizz Daniel). After skipping out on a paid performance in Tanzania, he was imprisoned there.
According to Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, the singer was released last night (NiDCOM).
The Summer Amplified Show producers reportedly had the “Buga” singer arrested since he did not show up for the much publicized performance on Sunday night.
For a live performance, the singer’s fans had to wait until six in the morning, but Kizz Daniel wasn’t there.
According to Track News, the musician arrived in the country earlier but chose not to play because his attire wasn’t accessible.
In a well-liked Twitter video, the musician could be seen being brought into a Tanzanian police vehicle while clad in a black sweatshirt.
However, Mrs. Abike responded to a tweet from a social media user yesterday night asking for the Federal Government to get involved by saying: “KD has been released.
But after his legal team visits the police again tomorrow (today), he will go for Nigeria.
