FIFA WWC: Super Falcons’ European opponent set up Zambia friendly

Republic of Ireland will face the Shepolopolo of Zambia in a friendly at the Tallaght Stadium on June 22.
It is one of the friendlies lined up for the Girls in Green ahead of their participation at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
Vera Pauw’s side are in Group B with Australia, Canada and the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
The Europeans will face the Super Falcons in their last game in the group.
It will be the first meeting between both teams.
The Super Falcons are currently taking part in a four-nation invitational tournament in Mexico.
The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will run from July 20 to August 20.
