Finidi agrees deal with NFF, names three foreign assistants
Football Federation will in the coming days make public the details of the contract of the new Super Eagles coach, Finidi George, after the two parties reached an agreement.
The NFF had penultimate week announced Finidi as the substantive successor to Jose Peseiro whom he worked with for about two years as assistant but the Federation didn’t reveal the details of the deal including salary.
However, New Telegraph has learnt that the two parties have now held an extensive meeting where all details were thrashed out.
One of the critical elements sorted out in the meeting was the issue of assistants that would form the technical crew.

As earlier reported by the TrackNews, Finidi will work with a foreign assistant and details have also emerged that he will be coming in with a physical fitness trainer and match analyst who are European while the first assistant is a Nigerian-German.
The NF is making an input in the set-up with the inclusion of ex-international Danie Amokachi who will be the second assistant while Abideen Baruwa will retain his position as goalkeeper’s trainer.
