First Bank Holdings GMD Resigns Amid First Bank Leadership Tussle

First Bank Holdings Managing Director, Urum Kalu (U.K) Eke, has resigned before the end of his tenure following the ongoing leadership tussle between Odukale and Otedola. Information Guide Nigeria

Tracknews Online reports that U.K Eke who was appointed in 2016 as the General Managing Director of First Bank Nigeria Holdings has tendered his resignation to the company since August 10, 2021, and is expected to exit his position by December 31, 2021.

According to RIPPLES NIGERIA, the bank claims that retirement has led to the GMD’s resignation adding that he has served in his position for two tenures.

Tracknews Online reports that the former Fidelity Bank CEO, Nnamdi Okonkwo, has been appointed as Eke’s replacement and is expected to take over on January 1, 2022.
