FLOOD: Dr. Azibapu, Azikel Group President, Donates 350m worth Food Items To Relieve Victims In Bayelsa

The Group President of Azikel Group, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐮 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐂𝐅𝐑), has donated 350m worth food items as relief materials to victims in Bayelsa State on Monday.

While presenting the relief materials to the State Government, he explained that he did it in a bid to help lessen the burdens and ameliorate the adverse effect of the devastating Flood that has attacked the state.

This is contained in a press statement released to Track News Nigeria exclusively and issued by Comrade Robert Igali, the Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Duoye Diri, this evening.

Part of the statement reads: “I will love to mention that, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐮 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐂𝐅𝐑), The President Azikel Group is the first Bayelsan who have come to visit the state and make tremendous support to the state Government in his own capacity since the beginning of this natural but disastrous attack called flood in Bayelsa, thus deserves the commendation of all well meaning Bayelsans.

You will agree with me that some days ago I made a loud call via all media platforms and radio stations to all well meaning Bayelsans who are in business and politics that are well to do to render a hand of Support to the Government of Bayelsa State in the sense of providing reasonable succour to the Flood Situation in the State. And so seeing an eminent son of our dear State who is a business mogul and a man committed to leading Re-industrialization in Africa, answering to that solidarity call, visiting our dear State and making a donation of food items worth N350 million naira, develops goosebumps in my face and triggered expressive amount of happiness and fulfillment as a Bayelsan.”

He added: “Therefore, let me with all sense of fulfillment commend the President of Azikel who recently received an award from the Presidency as Commander of Federal Republic (CFR) due to his excellent services in business and the oil industry, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐮 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐂𝐅𝐑), an eminent Bayelsan who loves and care for the wellbeing of Bayelsans at this critical and frustrating times of our history occasioned by the devastating flood. Thank you so much for extending your hand of support to the Internally Displaced Bayelsans and victims of the flood.”

He further continued: “Moreover, let me use this opportunity to again advance the call on all other well meaning Bayelsans, Business Moguls, Political Leaders, National and Internal Donor Agencies and Humanitarian organisations to take a cue from this and support what the Bayelsa State Governor, 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐧. 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐲𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐢 is doing to provide succour and hope to the displaced and victims of the flood..
