Former Deputy Speaker of House of Assembly dies
The Former Deputy Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Saleh Abubakar Dumba, is dead.
TrackNews learned that Dumba died on Thursday night.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman of Dass Local Government Area (LGA), Alhaji Shatima Sani Korau, expressed his shock at the news of Dumba’s passing.
“I am sending my condolence message to late Honourable Abubakar Saleh Dumba Families.
“May Allah have mercy on him, light his grave and make death a rest for him, Amen,” Korau said in a statement.
Similarly, Jafaru Gambo Leko, a House of Representatives hopeful in Dass Bauchi, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wrote in a message to the deceased family: “Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Hon. Dumba. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.”
Late Dumba’s Janazah (Islamic funeral prayer) is expected to hold at Gwallaga Central Mosque, at 9 am on Friday.
