Forum predicts Atiku will be declared victorious at the presidential election tribunal

A forum of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidates in the last general election has expressed confidence that Atiku Abubakar will emerge victorious at the ongoing presidential election tribunal.
The forum urged members of the party nationwide to remain calm as they await the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).
Engineer Ahmed Rufa’i Dagumawa, chairman of the forum, made the declaration while addressing a news conference at the NUJ press centre in Kano state, on Tuesday.
“We are expecting a very positive and good verdict that would enhance the dignity of the judicial system of this country,” he said.
The group expressed optimism that the court, being the last hope of the common man, would do the right thing in its verdict.
On the alleged division among members of the PDP in the state, the forum said it was not aware of any faction within the ranks of the party.
