George Turnah, MON, Thanks PDP Ward 9 For Voting Massively For The Party At The February 25th General Elections.

~ Urges Them To Replicate Same Feat During State Assembly, Governorship Elections
The legal adviser to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP South South Zone, High Chief (Barr.) Alabh George Turnah, MON, has thanked stakeholders and the leadership of PDP Ward 9 comprising of Kolo 1, Kolo 2, Kolo 3 and Amorukeni Communities, for working tirelessly to ensure that the party gets victory at the just concluded February 25th Presidential and National Assembly elections.
George Turnah who is also the Executive Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on Public Affairs and Social Orientation, expressed his appreciation during a committee meeting of stakeholders and executives of PDP Ward 9, held at the 4+4 Prosperity Movement Secretariat, in Yenagoa.
The PDP Ward 9 leader was particularly thankful to his constituents for giving bloc votes to the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate for Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Hon. Chief Benson Agadaga and the PDP candidate for Ogbia Federal House of Representatives, Hon. chief Mitema Obordo.
While also thanking all party agents who he said worked with a high level commitment even without any form of monetary incentives, he charged them to ensure that the ward replicates same feat at the March 11 State House of Assembly Elections, adding that with unity, the Ward can do better.
Turnah, who is an ardent believer and supporter of the Prosperity Government of His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri used the opportunity to reiterate his call for a continuous unwavering support for the Diri-led Administration.
He hinted that in the history of the state, no administration has shown the level of involvement in government which Governor Douye Diri has given to the people of Ogbia Constituency 3 in Obhan Emeyal Clan.
However, George Turnah warned very loudly against all forms of anti-party activities, saying the party leadership will not hesitate to will the big stick against any member of the party caught working against the interest of the PDP and its candidates.
After series of deliberations on issues affecting the party at the Ward level, Turnah appealed to members of the party to always give peace a chance and put the interest of the party first, while also promising to continue to do everything in his power to ensure the development of his people.
One after the other, stakeholders of the party ceased the privilege to commend George Turnah for his all-inclusive style of leadership, particularly for ensuring that the party remained one united family, which according to them, was demonstrated in the formation of a reconciliation committee and subsequent donation of #500,000.00 for the committee to carry out its duties.
