Girl, 19, abducted by kidnappers in Ondo
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers struck in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State and kidnapped a 19-year-old girl in Imoru community.
The victim, Adetutu Okinbaloye, was kidnapped after the abductors, reportedly seven in number, stormed the residence where she lived and macheted her aunt for resisting them.
Sources in the community told Track news the abductors had contacted the family with a demand for N10 million ransom.
Following the incident, local vigilante members in the community have been combing the forest for the trails of the kidnappers.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State Police Command spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya told DAILY POST: “The issue at Imoru was not officially reported at the station, but the DPO confirmed that the monarch of the town told him that three people were abducted by unknown gunmen. While two escaped, the third person was whisked away.”
