Glazer disagrees with Ten Hag over selling of Ronaldo
Adeleye Kunle Reports
Manchester United’s owners and manager Erik ten Hag have disagreed on Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club, TrackNews reports.
Ten Hag and Joe Glazer disagree on whether or not the club should sell the striker.
Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United this summer and join a club in the Champions League.
Ten Hag had previously stated unequivocally that Ronaldo was not for sale.
However, Ronaldo’s mood has soured as a result of the club’s opening Premier League defeats.
As a result, the former Ajax manager has decided to let Ronaldo go, even if it means going the rest of the season without a replacement.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Glazer, the club’s co-chairman, is opposed to selling Ronaldo.
Glazer approves all United transfers, and he has intervened in the past to prevent moves.
Glazer is refusing to entertain bids for Portugal captain.
