Amaka has clarified her recent interaction with Toronto police, denying widespread reports that she was arrested or detained. The Nigerian national explained that she was not charged with any crime but was invited by the authorities after a report was filed by the Nigerian government.
Amaka stated that during her meeting with Canadian authorities, she presented video evidence in response to alleged threats made against the Igbo people in Nigeria by individuals from the Benin and Yoruba communities.
