Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.

General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, expressed his dissatisfaction with the state of the nation yesterday, noting that the situation has demonstrated that human knowledge cannot solve the numerous challenges confronting Nigeria.

He stated this upon his arrival in Lagos for the Global Crusade, dubbed “Total Emancipation by the Authority of Christ,” which is set to take place from July 28 to August 2, this year.

Dr. Oluremi Olaleye, Vice-Chancellor and Governing Council of Lagos State University of Science and Technology, formerly LASPOTECH, welcomed him.

Fighting and agitation among various tribes and religious bodies, according to Kumuyi, must end because it will not solve the nation’s problems.

“As I watch and read in the news about events in the country, I am more concerned about our country’s future,” he says. We argue about many things as a country, but I’d like to point out that if we look with both eyes, we won’t see anything.

“It is time for us as a country to take a step back and allow God to move Nigeria to its rightful place as Africa’s giant.” It’s something I believe the Lord can accomplish. Stop fighting with one another. Let’s put an end to this fight. Let us stop opposing each other. Let us take a step back and allow God to work in this country. Nigeria and Africa will rise again in this manner.”

“I became a born again the same year I entered the university as a student,” Kumuyi said, urging students to turn to God for clearer vision. “If I had entered ordinarily as a student, maybe my vision and focus would be on the subject I went to take at the university, which is mathematics.”

“However, because I was transformed and my life became burdened, I saw a future of new life, new spirit, and new vision, a new character that came into my life as a student.” I could not only make a difference in my own life and family, but also in the nations and the world at large.”

Olaleye praised Kumuyi for considering the institution’s premises for the crusade, while also pledging his full support for the programs’ success.
