Golden Eaglets storm Constantine for 2023 U-17 AFCON
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have arrived in Constantine, Algeria, for their final preparations ahead of the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
Nduka Ugbade’s side moved to Algeria after a planned trip to Germany was aborted following complications that arose from processing visas to the European country.
The biennial competition will begin in Algeria this weekend.
The two-time champions will begin their campaign against Zambia next week Monday at the 22,000 capacity Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, Constantine.
The Golden Eaglets will also face Morocco and South Africa in their Group B games at the ground.
The top four teams in the competition will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup finals scheduled for later this year
