Gombe United’s Zubairu restates team’s ambition ahead of final home game

Gombe United head coach, Aliyu Zubairu has called for fans’ support ahead of their final home game at the Pantami Township Stadium.
The Savannah Scorpions have already secured their top-flight status.
The club is also through to the Round of 16 of the Federation Cup.
Zubairu opined that with the maximum support from the fans, his players can continue to improve on their target.
“We need the fans at our final home game,” he told newsmen
“We have fought really hard to get here all through the season, and we know we are almost there in the Federation Cup, but we can’t do it without their support that’s why we need them to be behind us all through thick and thin.
“The Federation Cup is in our reach so we need them to continue to push us in winning it.”
Gombe United are yet to know their next opponent in the Federation Cup after beating Mighty Jets in the Round of 32
