Gov. Diri attends service of songs of late S.A on Community Devt, Luke Godday

Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri today, attended the service of songs in honour of Late Dr. Luke Raymond Godday.
The 57 year old Dr. Godday, was until his death, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development and a lecturer in the Faculty of Management Sciences, Niger Delta University.
Describing Dr. Luke as a pillar of the prosperity government and the People’s Democratic Party in Sagbama Local Government, and one who has contributed to the development of the state, Governor Diri prayed God to grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
“Let me on behalf of the government of Bayelsa State, convey our heartfelt condolences to the family of our fallen brother. We pray that God will grant you the fortitude to bear this very irreplaceable loss”, Governor Diri stated.
The service which was held at the DSP Alamieyeseigha memorial Banquet Hall, also had in attendance, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Godbless Oyinke, member representing Sagbama Constituency 1 in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Michael Ogbara, member representing Ogbia Constituency 3, Hon. Tare Porri, member representing Ekeremor Constituency 1, Prof. Felix Omemu, Secretary, People’s Democratic Party, South-South Zone, Hon. Solomon Agwana, Chairman, People’s Democratic Party, Bayelsa State Chapter and other members of the state working committee, Chairmen of Local Government Areas, Dr. Peter Akpe, Chief of Staff, Government House, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House and other top government officials.
