Gov. Diri Inaugurated The Remodelled State High Court Complex.

In Yenagoa, Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State on Wednesday inaugurated the remodelled State High Court Complex at Onopa, Yenagoa. The Court complex was named after the late Justice K. D. Ungbuku, the first Chief Judge in Bayelsa State in honour of his selfless service to the State.
The Governor while commending the effort of the Judiciary in the State under the watch of retiring Chief Judge of the State, Justice (Mrs.) Kate Abiri, Bayelsa State equally thank her for making Bayelsa become the first state in Nigeria to launch the Nigeria Case Management System, Electronic-filing of documents to aid court processes and enhance the administration of justice.
The Governor in his word “I congratulate My Lord Justice Abiri for her distinguished record of service to the Judiciary, Bayelsa State and Nigeria.”
In the event, the Governor was accompanied by His Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo some National Assembly Membe, State Assembly Members and others State functionaries.
