GOV. FUBARA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO UZODINMA, VICTOR OF BIG BREAK MOMENT REALITY SHOW

…Pledges unwavering support for youths dedicated to positive endeavors
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has pledged a scholarship grant to Chibueze Uzodinma, the triumphant contestant in a dance competition featured on the educational entertainment reality TV series, Season 2, hosted by Big Break Moment.
Big Break Moment serves as a platform dedicated to uncovering and celebrating the creativity and talents of Nigerian youths.
The scholarship award was unveiled during a brief ceremony at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday, where Governor Fubara officially presented the prize—a brand-new Changan CS35 Plus luxury car—to be passed on to the victor.

Governor Fubara underlined the significance of self-discovery and the cultivation of innate talents as integral components of development, alongside more conventional infrastructure projects.
He stressed the importance for young people to invest time in introspection and engagement in endeavors that facilitate the realization of personal aspirations, thus achieving success worthy of commendation.

“I’ve chosen to undertake this initiative for a singular reason: to convey a message to our youth that when you are prepared to excel, when you are prepared to positively unleash your potential to the world, we will consistently stand by you.
“I am also elated that the winner of this competition hails from my alma mater. It’s important for everyone to understand that you can pursue your passions beyond academics while still in school,” Governor Fubara affirmed.
“As a government, we are committed to supporting you, assisting you in your education journey. Therefore, we will not simply provide monetary assistance. Instead, I am extending a scholarship offer to support your educational pursuits to any level you aspire to reach.”
Governor Fubara urged young people to emulate the example of Chibueze Uzodinma, who leveraged his talent in dance to gain recognition, eschewing criminal activities and emerging as a celebrated figure.

In his remarks, Dr. Chisom Gbali, the Rivers State Commissioner for Youth Development, expressed satisfaction that a native of Rivers State emerged as the winner of the reality show, illustrating the resourcefulness and excellence of Rivers youths, as championed by Governor Fubara’s administration.
Tayo Folorunsho, the Founder and CEO of Big Break Moment Africa, highlighted how they utilized the platform to discover the latest winner in the dance category, showcasing the talent pool within Rivers State and bringing pride to the region.
