Gov Fubara: Even If My Father Was Alive, He Would Have Played Politics With What Wike Did For Me

Fubara’s speech was a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards Nyesom Wike. He emphasized the importance of Wike’s actions towards him and acknowledged the impact it has had on his life. Fubara’s words were a testament to the positive influence that leaders can have on those around them.
Fubara also noted that he was aware of where they were coming from, implying that their past experiences were not as positive as their current situation. He did not elaborate on what he meant by this, but it is clear that Wike’s impact on his life has been significant.
Siminalayi Fubara, during a reception in honor of Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State Governor, expressed his gratitude towards the celebrant. He stated that even if his father was alive, he would have played politics with what Nyesom Wike did for him. Fubara referred to Wike as his principal and mentor, and also as a father figure due to the impact he has had on his life.
According to him, “at the instance of my principal, my mentor, for those of you that I’ve not told, he’s also a father because what the celebrant has done in my life, I don’t think even my father when he was alive would have played politics with his children. Are you sure this is the right person to give this gift to? Are you sure this is the right person to encourage? But he has gone beyond just me working for him as his boy to show me so much love like a son, so I have to say this because his Thanksgiving today means so much to us. I know where we’re coming from; like I said in the church, we give God all the glory that we’re gathered here to celebrate success.
Fubara went on to explain that Wike’s actions towards him went beyond just a working relationship. He stated that Wike had shown him so much love like a son, and had encouraged him in ways that even his own father would not have done. Fubara acknowledged that Wike’s Thanksgiving meant a lot to him and others present at the reception.
