Gov. Kabir Bids Farewell to Kano Conjoined Twins on Surgical Separation Mission to Saudi Arabia.

***Commends Kingdom Saudi Arabia for Extending Humanitarian Gesture to Kano
Kano state Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has commended the kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman Bin Abdul’aziz for sponsoring the surgery of Kano conjoined twin babies at a Saudi based hospital in Riyadh.
Speaking while bidding farewell to the parents of conjoined twin babies at Aminu Kano International Airport, the governor described the kind gesture of King Salman as a God rewarding venture worthy of emulation by others.
Governor Yusuf who prayed for the sustainace of the long lasting relationship between Kano/Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to continue to wax stronger, stated that the government would not relent in its efforts of restoring the lost glory of the state Health sector.
The governor recalled that not long ago Saudi Arabian Doctors were at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, to treat patients suffering from heart ailments and eyes problems free of charge.
He therefore, prayed for the conjoined twin babies to have a successful surgical separation and bounced back to life as two independent human beings.
Speaking earlier, the Saudi consul General in Kano, Shiekh Khalil Al’adamawi disclosed that such initiative is a reflection of the Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian causes and dedication to helping those in need.
He added that the gesture is usually extended to the needy regardless of their nationality or background, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been at the forefront of providing international humanitarian aids.
The consul then revealed that the parents of the conjoined twins will be accommodated in Riyadh, and a support system will be provided to them for maximum comfort and assistance throughout the journey.
in his remark, the father of the conjoined twins, Malam Hassan Isa Kano expressed the heartfelt appreciation of his family to the custodian of the two holy mosques, Salman Bin Abdulaziz for sponsoring the surgical operations of the twins, Hassana and Husaina, praying for Allah to reward him and his kindom with jannatul Firdausi.
He also commended Kano state Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for the love and concern he has shown to them as well as for sparing time to bid them farewell at the Airport today.
