Gov. Ugwuanyi accepts rousing reception in Eha-Amufu, as Isi-Uzo youths, stakeholders renew their support

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State was greeted with cheers and excitement upon his arrival in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of the state, which is the country home of the former Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Prof. Hilary Odo Edeoga, as the people of the area, women, youths, and stakeholders of the council area trooped out in numbers
Gov. Ugwuanyi, accompanied by the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Augustine Nnamani, and the Member of the National Assembly representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Cornelius Nnaji, was in Eha-Amufu on a private visit to congratulate Prof. Edeoga on his recent award of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) by President Muhammadu Bu
The governor was also entertained with various cultural displays with traditional renditions that dramatised the people’s love and endorsement of the governor’s exceptional leadership qualities and sterling contributions to the development of Eha-Amufu in particular and Isi-Uzo LGA in general.
In welcoming Gov. Ugwuanyi, the youths of Isi-Uzo LGA assured him that they are fully behind him. They also assured the governor that Isi-Uzo LGA is a PDP stronghold, emphasizing that the council area will vote PDP in the 2023 general election.
Innocent Lotachukwu Odo, representing the Isi-Uzo youths, told Gov. Ugwuanyi, “the promise we make to you is that since we have been delivering PDP 100 percent in the past, we will still give the party 100 percent votes in these coming elections.”
“We are here to reassure you that Isi-Uzo youths are fully behind you, 100 percent behind you, and that Isi-Uzo LGA is PDP.” There is no movement!”
Former Commissioner for Human Capital Development and Poverty Reduction, Hon. Godwin Ogenyi, thanked Gov. Ugwuanyi for the visit on behalf of the stakeholders and people of Isi-Uzo LGA, saying it was a mark of respect for their people.
Hon. Ogenyi expressed gratitude to the governor for the special attention his administration has paid to Isi-Uzo LGA, saying, “The people of Eha-Amufu are pleased with you.” The people of Isi-Uzo are also pleased with you. We are pleased with the way you are caring for our people. The way you care for our children and how the issues that concern our people touch your heart.
“We are not saying this as an expression because there will come a time when we will show you that we are on your side.”
“Just know that the moon will definitely shine after a dark cloud of rain.” Every eye will see its brightness to the earth at that time. We greet you, Your Excellency.”
