Governor Diri is Youth Friendly__Robert Igali

Stakeholders in the state have been charged to inculcate youths of the state in all sectors in order to groom them for effective leadership positions.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, Distinguished Comrade Deacon Robert Igali (JP), said this when he appeared on a TrackNews live TV programme “Prosperity hour”.

According to the SSA, the youths are ready to take on the responsibility of leadership in the State.

Distinguished Comrade Robert Igali said he has mentored so many youths and has turned them from the ‘I am loyal’ to responsible youths that are doing well on their own now.

“Any leader who cannot mentor a youth to be self reliant is not a good leader and they should borrow a leaf from what Governor Douye Diri is doing for the youths”, Igali said

The former Chairman of the Comrade family in Bayelsa State applauded Governor Douye Diri for his unwavering support to the youth in the State through Skills Acquisition programmes.

“During the last election, I can beat my chest to say that I mobilized more youths in the State and they delivered on the mandate set before them”, Distinguished Comrade Igali said.

Distinguished Comrade Deacon Robert Igali (JP) called on parents to teach their children in terms of decision making from the home front urging them to build capacity so as to be relevant in the society.

“I congratulate Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy Lawrence Ehrwudjakpo for the overwhelming victory at the November 11, 2023 Off- Cycle Gubernatorial election and I know the Governor who has done so much for the youths in skills acquisition will do much more for us”, Distinguished Comrade Robert Igali added.
