Governor Douye Diri’s Faithfuls In Government House Set To Be Appointed By The Governor

Gov. diri excludes Bayelsa East members, appoint his kinsmen into 16man media team

Confusion is said to be setting in following a recent controversial appointment of about 16 media aides by the Bayelsa State Governor.

Information gathered alledges that the deputy chief of staff, Peter Akpe, bypassed the office of the Chief Press Secretary and singlehandedly constituted the list, adding to it members of his immediate family.

While the list has received some amounts of appraisal, it has also been lampooned by some concerned Bayelsans, who are of the opinion, that the said list clearly represents the marginalization of some LGA’s and exclusion of some critical actors, who played keyed role during the electioneering period.
