Governor Zulum Commissions 500 Houses for IDPs in Borno, Enhances Community Infrastructure
Governor Babagana Zulum has officially commissioned 500 two-bedroom houses for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the Logumani community of Ngala Local Government Area, Borno State.
The newly built housing units are part of a comprehensive initiative to provide shelter and essential amenities for those displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency.
In addition to the houses, Governor Zulum inaugurated a primary school, health centre, police station, and a borehole for water provision, enhancing the community’s overall well-being.
As a gesture of support, each family in the community received a generous gift of N50,000.

Further contributions to sustainable living include one bull and one cow, a bag of rice and maize grain, a water pump for irrigation farming, clothing materials, seedlings, and insecticide.
In a compassionate effort to address the specific needs of female beneficiaries, housewives were presented with N20,000 in cash and a wrapper.
