Guinness Book: Bayelsa-Born Ball Juggler, Tonye breaks world record

●●Sets 149 climbing steps on mast with ball on head
Mr. Tonye Solomon, a.k.a, D. Boy, has registered his name in the Guinness Book of Record for successfully climbing a mast making 149 steps in the process while having a ball balanced on his head.
Tonye who hails from Okordia community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has by this feat breaks the Guinness book of world record as “The Greatest Distance Travelled With the Football Balanced On The head”.
The existing record is 70 steps while the new steps await confirmation.
The event held this morning at the Hospital Road behind Police Officers Mess with a crowd of supporters led by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Gentle Emelah and immediate past Lawmaker for Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency One, Hon. Tonye Isenah.
Mr. Chukwuebuka Ezugha who represented Guinness World Record to monitor the entire process assured Bayelsans that the Global body would within the next three weeks review the exercise for the required confirmation.
