Gunmen abduct wife of Adamawa judge

A gang of suspected kidnappers have abducted Mrs. Zainab Abbas, the wife of a High Court Judge in Adamawa State.
The suspects stormed the victim’s residence in the Nyinbango area of Jimeta, Yola, and whisked her away.
This would be the second abduction in Nyibango in two weeks after two pastors were abducted from the same place.
The latest incident occurred between 1:00am and 2:00am on Wednesday, according to Adamawa Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje.
Nguroje assured in a statement that the Adamawa State Police Command would do all within it to rescue the victim.
He said Commissioner of Police CP Afolabi Babatola, had deployed operatives drawn from the Crack Squad and Special Rapid Response Team (SRRT) for the rescue mission.
