Help! Bayelsa Hip-Hop Artist Seeks N15m for kidney Transplant
Unless there is urgent assistance from the government of Bayelsa Bayelsa, good-spirited Nigerians and corporate organisations, Timi Tonkumo Wednesday with stage name [Lemon Black] may not live to further his career.
Timi Tonkumo Wednesday aka( lemon black) is a hip-hop artiste from Bayelsa state, southern Ijaw local government area Ikebiri and a graduate of Niger Delta university who is currently suffering from a chronic kidney disease and he is presently ondergoing dialysis three times a week to survive.
He needs financial support to enable him undergo a kidney transplant and the cost of surgery is N15MILLION.
The Bayelsa State entertainment industry and the family of Mr. Timi Tonkumo Wednesday is appealing to the governor of Bayelsa Sen. Douye Diri and the general public to help save the life of this young talented Bayelsan.
Medical doctors at the Family Care Hospital Yenagoa Bayelsa State, where he is on dialysis, say he is down with bilateral chronic canal parenchymal disease and in dire need of financial support for a kidney transplant.
According Dr. Emolade Ebobrah, the radiology reports shows that the both kidneys are reduced in size and show increase cortical exhogenicity with with loss of corticomedullary differentiation. The medical report also indicates that there are no renal stones or hydronephrosis.
