Hon. Commisioner, Moses Tebowei Clear Air Over Alleged Derogatory Statement Against Youths.

In Yenagoa, The Commisioner for Works and Infrastructural Development, Bayelsa State Hon. Moses Tebowei has cleared the air on the supposed spotlight on Glory FM on Wednesday, during which he was misunderstood to have referred to Bayelsa Youths as “Lazy”.

Reacting to the supposed statement by Hon. Moses Tebowei, youths have taken to the social media space to defend themselves while some out of impulse have used that as a ràison dátre to insult, ridicule and castigate Hon. Moses Tebowei and the Prosperity Administration at large.

However, to clear the air and put a punctuation to the misinterpreted statement that has gone viral across Bayelsa State, Hon. Moses Tebowei has spoken to Tracknews Media Ltd, during which he reiterated his intentions and the exact words he used during the spotlight where he did not exactly say ” some Bayelsa Youths are lazy” as coined in some quarters of the society and social media space. Hon. Moses Tebowei in his words ” I only x-rayed the several infrastructural projects that are ongoing in the state and encouraged Bayelsa Youths to take maximum advantage of the opportunity to earn cash and not waste such era that are not common with State Governments. However, ” to my greatest dismay, my attention was drawn to the jaw dropping viral information on the social media space that I, Hon. Moses Tebowei, Honourable Commissioner For Works, outrightly insulted the entirety of Bayelsa Youths, this is really saddening, disheartening and heartbroken”.

Hon. Moses Tebowei further reiterated to Tracknews Correspondence ” I have brilliant and hardworking Bayelsa Youths working with me, personally,I know the worth of the average Bayelsa youth, also I know a number of Bayelsa Youths that are doing well for themselves both home and abroad,I can’t possibly insult my youths”, he added .
