**Calls For Unity Amongst Epie Atissa, Bayelsa At Large

The ceremonial kickoff of the Osomkime Blankson Unity Soccer Tournament was one that came with encomiums from well-wishers, a move that will unite EPIE, ATISSA people and the state at large.

The event held at Edepie School field, Edepie, Yenagoa is a testament of Hon. Blankson Osomkime’s passion to curb youth reactiveness in the state through sports development.

It is worthy of note that Hon Blankson Osomkime has before this time , in his Philanthropic disposition empowered Youths in EPIE ATISSA clan to help utilize their potentials in various entrepreneurship endeavors.

Sponsor of the football tournament Hon. Blankson affirmed that the football tournament is not politically motivated, He emphasized that the core purpose of the tournament Hon is to foster unity within Epie communities, leveraging football as a globally recognized sport that brings people together.

The successful business Man, further charged Epie clan to come out in support of the tournament and assured the organizers of his unwavering support for future editions. Hon. Blankson also announced that the tournament would be expanded to include other local government areas beyond Yenagoa (Epie-Atissa).

Winners of the tournament will smile home with ₦1,000,000, Second Place is pegged at ₦700,000 while Third Place team will go home with₦500,000.

The opening match saw Biogbolo Community face Opolo Community in an entertaining game. Opolo Community emerged victorious, defeating Biogbolo Community 3-1 in what was a thrilling start to the tournament.

The Osomkime Blankson Unity Soccer Tournament promises to be a unifying event for Epie Clan, inspiring hope, unity, and the discovery of future football talents.
