Hon. Rodney Partners (BCDA), Distributes Educational Materials to Schools in Southern Ijaw.

The member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, in collaboration with the Boarder Communities Development Agency (BCDA) has distributed free learning materials to selected schools across his Federal Constituency.
This is an initiative of the lawmaker aimed at assisting parents and guardians to acquire the much-needed academic items needed by their children, especially in the new academic session, and to promote effective learning.
The event, which took place in Amassoma community, witnessed the distribution of 273 HDF pupils/students desks, 30 HDF teachers tables, 30 HDF teachers chairs, and 16,800 copies of customised not-for-sale notebooks of 20, 40, 60, and 80 leaves, respectively, to 6 selected secondary schools across southern Ijaw, namely:
1. Government Secondary School (GSS) Amassoma.
2. Southern Ijaw Secondaey School (SISSO) Oporoma.
3. Community Secondary School (CSS) Otuan.
4. Community Secondary School (CSS) Eniwari
5. Ogboin Grammar School (OGS) Amatolo
6. St. Stephen Primary School (SPS) Amassoma
In his remarks, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, represented by Elder Atabai Samuel, said the event was not only designed to assist the parents of the students and schools involved but also to encourage the students to seek excellence in the new academic session.
He equally noted that Hon. Rodney expressed his determination to ensure that students in his federal constituency receive the much-needed support to thrive in their academic pursuits.
The acting Amananaowei of Amassoma Community, HRH Chief Godswill Akedesuo, emphasized in his goodwill messages the benefits of having a worthy son who prioritizes the welfare of his people as your representative. He expressed his satisfaction with the federal lawmaker’s performance since taking office.
Chief Dubadei Igali, Vice Principal of Community Secondary School Eniwari, thanked Hon. Rodney for his benevolent actions and also appreciated his efforts in renovating their school, which had been in a deplorable state, and assured him that the materials would be used prudently.
Also, the Principal of Ogboin Grammar School (OGS), Mrs. Mathew Ebitei expressed her gratitude to Hon. Rodney for selecting her institution as a beneficiary of his charitable gesture. She also lauded him for performing so well within this short period in office with all the laudable people-orientated projects.
The official presentation was done by the Chief of Staff/SA documentation to Hon. Ambaiowei, Mr. Pere Alfred, at the White House Hotel, Amassoma, Bayelsa State.
