How abducted paramount ruler’s wife, son regain freedom in Abuja

Mrs Sadiya Hassan Shamidozhi, the wife of the traditional ruler of Bukpe and her son, Osama Hassan Shamidozhi, in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, abducted by bandits have regained their freedom after seven weeks.
Bandits, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, abducted one of the chief’s wives, two sons and three other residents of the area from their residences.
Alhaji Hassan Shandozhi, the Village Head of Bukpe, who confirmed the release of his wife and one of his sons, explained, “Now they (bandits) are demanding another N3 million to free one of my sons and two of my subjects that are in their captivity.”
A member of the family, Danjuma Usman, revealed that the bandits were given N2.5 million, foodstuff, hard drugs, energy drinks and wines in a forest in Kogi State.
He confirmed that the kidnappers refused to release the other son of the chief, Hamisu, and the two other victims.
