HRM Idibiye Commends Gov. Diri For The Commencement Of Rebuilding Of CSS Okoroma After 40 Years
Technical Adviser to the Governor on NDDC, Hon. Kuro Matthias Nyenye, led a delegation of the Representatives of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Okoroma Clan Council of Chiefs, to witness the groundbreaking and takeover of site for the construction of twelve classrooms storey building, with four offices, two store room and twelve toilets at Community Secondary School Okoroma in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
After the Okilo regime built the dilapidated buildings, the students have been passing through hell until the Governor Senator Douye Diri, coming to the aide of the people haven’t heard the situation of the school.
The brief ceremony was done in order to kickstart the construction soon as possible as part of the efforts of the Prosperity Administration of His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, to upgrade the educational sectors of the state and the establishment of the school will expand access to learning.
The Obenobhan of the clan was represented by the Palace Secretary of the Clan, Chief Nanyo B. Kienworio, who appreciate their son, Hon. Kuro Matthias Nyenye, for the love he has for his clan. Because of the love for his clan, he is trying to see that the suffering of his own people are alleviated even before his position today. He described Hon. Kuro Matthias Nyenye as a philanthropist who has been looking for development of the clan and not his community alone. He appreciate the Representatives of SUBEB for this project.
The Palace Secretary appreciated His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, for ensuring the dividends of democracy gets across to all sundry in Bayelsa State.
The Principal of Community Secondary School (CSS) Okoroma thanked the SUBEB Representatives, the Okoroma Clan Council of Chiefs, the Okoroma Clan Head and everyone for this project. The Principal assures that he is going to work with the Clan Head, Kings, Chiefs, Elders, Youths and Women to ensure that this project will be completed on record time.
Other members of the delegation are; the SUBEB Representative, Chief Abaiyaguo Azibaola, the Chairman of Okoroma Clan Council of Chiefs, Chief W. D. Ase-Blackwil, the Secretary of Advisory Committee, Chief Ebikiemo Iruo Obodo Akarara, the Secretary of Okoroma Clan Council of Chiefs, Chief Joseph Ikogi Isan and amongst others.
